One thing building websites taught me is this: you can do whatever the fuck you want with your life.
Yes, I said it. And I’ll say it again because it matters.
You can do whatever you want with your life.
Your life is a blank canvas. A clean screen freshly opened. A sandbox with tools and toys scattered around, waiting for you to touch them, move them, and make something of your own.
Of course, we all have limits. We are not dealt the same cards. But within those limits, how you build your little castle in the sand is still yours to decide.
You cannot ask someone else to live your life for you. Technically, you can. But then it slowly becomes their life, not yours.
So ask yourself: What do I want?
The answer may not come immediately. It may need time to ferment in the Deep Mind, which is what I call the unfathomable psyche. It may need to be kneaded and seasoned with experience, heartbreak, joy, and ordinary living before you can finally understand it.
What do you want?
It is one of the hardest questions we ever have to answer. Some people may spend their entire lives avoiding it.
So perhaps this is the work.
Not to have the answer right away, but to keep listening for it.
And when it finally arrives, to be brave enough to build accordingly.
